On a recent work trip to Tampa, Florida, I happened upon this decadent white sand beach in St. Petersburg. The granules are so fine and soft that I wouldn't mind retiring out here and hitting the beach every day.

Fashion First showcases designs from independent fashion designers as well as boutiques around the Puget Sound. And it's not just a fashion show. This event raises money for the Rise and Shine Foundation.

Seattle Star Ball 2010

I have years of experience with photographing break dancers, but hours upon hours of ballroom dance photography is a whole 'nother beast! From early in the morning until late at night for three days straight, my whole body was sore and cramped. But I did love watching them dance!

Vogue Front Row Fashion Show

Bellevue Fashion Week's premier event is the Front Row Fashion Show, sponsored by Vogue. The clothing on the runway comes from stores in the Bellevue Collection and is curated by editors at Vogue. Some of my photos from this event were later published in the 2011 September issue of Vogue Magazine.
