NW Sweet 16

The 2009 edition of Seattle's NW Sweet 16 battle occurred on January 17 at the Seattle Vineyard. This two-story venue allowed spectators to maneuver into a good spot to watch the b-boys and b-girls battle it out for the title and prize.

This year's all-star line-up included members of Battle Reflexes, BYC, Circle of Fire, Crisis, Dance Broomz, Def Con 5, Filthee Feet, Fraggle Rock, Freshest Kids, Illaskin Assassins, Knuckleheadz, Misguided Steps, Moon Patrol, and Soul Felons. Many others joined the 2 on 2 battle (48 crews, to be exact).

The night was a flurry of music, dance, and love. Here are the photos captured:

New Years in Nassau

It was nice to leave the Seattle winter and spend New Years in the Caribbean. In the Bahamas, to be exact. My goal is to visit 30 Caribbean islands in my lifetime.
