Luly Yang Couture at the 2013 Lunar New Year Gala

Luly Yang's couture gowns have been the highlight of the Lunar New Year Gala for the past few years. The runway show kicked off the auction to raise money for the Bruce Lee Action Museum. A colorful array of frocks constructed of the richest fabrics made their way up and down the runway for all to gander.

Patrick Dempsey Visits Tully's

On January 4th, Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey visited the Tully's at Bellevue's Lincoln Square. His group recently purchased Tully's, so he made an impromptu visit to the eastside store. I was there on behalf of Kemper Development to capture the mayhem of fans wanting to be photographed with the Grey's Anatomy star.

Dancing Domes

Terry "Dancing Domes" of the Massive Monkees is definitely a colorful subject. I wanted to showcase his body art, which is as vibrant as the myriad of graffiti behind him.

Rated Next Generation (A.K.A RNG) is a group of immensely talented teenagers who can compete against grown-ups twice their age. They did just that on the last season of America's Best Dance Crew on MTV. What really makes an impact on me isn't how much talent and passion they exude, but the grounded, respectful nature they possess. What a wonderful group of youngsters!

The ten year anniversary of Luly Yang Couture was celebrated with the theme of A Monarch's Tale. Each of the five sets on the runway represented a different phase of the monarch's metamorphosis.

Nordstrom Designer Preview

Nordstrom Designer Preview, held at Pier 91 for the third year in a row, never fails to deliver the most coveted fashions of top designers. Prior to the start of the runway show, live models from Seattle and Los Angeles were arranged outside of the seating area in a live preview. Many of these photos were published in a spread in 425 Magazine.
